IPS (1984 batch, Haryana cadre). Served as CP Gurugram and DG, Haryana Armed Police, with a CBI posting; later DG, Indo-Tibetan Border Police (2018-2021), with additional charge as DG BSF and earlier DG SSB. Retired 2021; now the first Vice-Chancellor of the Sports University, Rai, Sonepat.
